This week wraps up the second trimester of the 2026 school year and brings us to spring break. As it being the end of this trimester reporters Kylee Gliddon, Ryban Aish, and Taylor Strom went out and asked St. Francis high school students how their second trimester went.  

 What was your favorite class this trimester? Freshman Randy Strom and Charles Witherell were asked. Strom said his favorite class has been welding and fabricating with Mr. Trost. Witherell said his favorite class was English.  

 What was the best class you have had? Brock Solberg confidently said Mr. Shaff’s earth and space science. Unlike Charlie Denning, who said his least favorite class was earth and space science. 

 Many seniors all agreed that their favorite part of the second trimester has been the senior slide as Lily Arvidson said she has all elective classes and never has homework. 

 The overall highest ranked class by the students was Lemke’s AP Volleyball class. Many students ranked it as their favorite class of the trimester. Colton Burman, Maya Sowinski, and Clayton Reintjes, all agreed volleyball topped all the other electives. Others said the class helped them meet new people and make friends they did not expect from the class, as you are on a new team every week. 

 Students also enjoyed having online classes during the day and being able to catch up on their work with the given hour.
