Tanner Kunshier, Reporter

For the past decade, Senior Tanner Kunshier has been wrestling in the ISD 15 community. This year, he became captain for the Saints.

His success is undeniable. This year he approaches his 100th win and only 15 loses.

“It (wrestling) has shaped me to become the best person I can be,” said Kunshier.

Captains have a lot of responsibilities from the basic to more difficult duties. Showing up everyday and attending morning practices sets a example for other wrestlers.

“It's difficult to always be a good role model,” said Kunshier. “You're held at a certain standard, so you always have to do your best.”

Every sport has its ups and downs but Kunshier says his favorite part of the sport is the team.

“I like how my team is my second family,” he said, “and I can really trust them.” - Profile by Paige Aldrich
