Northern Edge Boys Hockey

Northern+Edge+Boys+Hockey

Northern Edge, the combined Hockey team of SFHS and North Branch High School, is trying to bounce back after facing some challenges in the previous season, and they are thirsty for blood. On the ice, their hard work is hopefully going to pay off. With tons of skill and determination, the team has been giving it their all.

The team has been buzzing with excitement for this upcoming season and the fresh new team with the new sophomores. They are hoping to get the stands packed full of beauties cheering on the boys as they go bardidie and celly to the stoody.

Coaches and staff deserve recognition for their commitment, determination, and leadership. The coaches have been putting the team to work on their passing, trying to get those nice crisp passes, shooting to shelf it on the tendy, and most importantly defense to keep the biscuit out of the net.

Regarding leadership, Zach Monson has been a fantastic captain for Northern Edge. He has been pushing the team to the limit during practice sessions so that they can succeed in the future. As a fellow team member, I can tell that his leadership has set a great energy for the team every practice.

Their goal is to prevent a repeat of last season’s 3-22-1 record. The Edge team are ready to take on their next game at Tartan and secure a win to change the path that they are on with a record of 0-2. As they hit the ice on Saturday, the team will continue to work on its chemistry and flow on the ice. If Zach Monson and Milo Hettland can put the puck on the net, and if Goalie Rylie Pickle can continue to defend,  they’ll have  a good shot at their first win.
