The Freshman football team is undefeated, 6-0, after a win against Fridley Thursday night. They are leading the conference.
“They find a way to get it done,” said Keith Lipinski, in his first year head coaching the team.
In a game against Chisago Lakes, Chisago got the ball down to the Saints three yard line and the Saint’s defense stopped them four times. The freshmen boys went on to win 14-0.
“The best part about freshmen is that they always find a way to win,” said Lipinski, “They pick themselves up when the momentum is against them.”

The team has been dominant, beating teams like Cooper, Benilde-St. Margaret, and just recently, Fridley.
“They are self-motivated,” Lipinski said.
