The return of Parker Crane

The return of Parker Crane

Insidious 2 is a haunting sequel causing the crowd to squeal in terror as the story unfolds about the horrors. Blending smoke, black and white color schemes and random noises screaming through the speakers, I would give the Insidious 2 movie a four star rating.
The movie was released in September on Friday the 13th. Many teenagers gathered their friends to indulge themselves in the terrifying sequel. Overall, the movie was a very well portrayed second version of the initial first version of Insidious. The characters all had a unique personality that added to the theme of the movie.
Continuing the first movie, this movie included a different setting but the same set of characters. A different setting was introduced in order to “fix” the demon problem that occurred in the first movie. There was a good balance between happy daylight moments, and chilling night time moments.
A moonlight effect was used throughout most of this movie, and the moonlight effect is just a black and white lighting technique to intensify the idea of “night time”. The sounds used in this movie really added to the overall sense of being afraid in each scene. Smoke also added to the scenes in which there was another world involved. You could really connect with the actors as they were experiencing different emotions, like fear or terror.
This movie has a really good plot line that gives the audience a sense of closure from the first movie. Not only is the plot itself really well developed in the movie, but the plot twist added a whole new experience to the story line and gave the audience an intense feeling of satisfaction.
With every satisfying moment in the movie, a door of unsatisfying terror leaves the viewers on the edge of their seat, with a fist full of popcorn in their mouths, and another mysterious story erupts to leave everyone wanting more.
