The conclusion hits theaters

The world may officially end now, because Breaking Dawn Part Two has been released in theaters for all to see. It may be a tragic moment for all the fans who love Twilight, but it also may be a relief to be prepared for the world to end in December, knowing that Edward and Bella will live happily ever after.

During my middle school years, the Twilight saga was a huge hit amongst the students, and the thought of the movies being put out with the knowledge of how popular it was becoming, was a thrill for everyone.

As the movies rolled out, one by one, the suspense built with each movie was exhilarating because the love stories were finally being put together.

Twilight, the first movie in the saga, was released in 2008, and now in 2012 the fourth movie is out for the public to see. Ironic how it takes four years to release four movies, but technically it’s five.

Breaking Dawn was broken up into two parts due to the fact of how long it was, and how much happened overall. Also, the filming of the movies took place in many different locations; like in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Vancouver, British Columbia; and at the Raleigh Studios in Baton Rouge.

From the beginning, the connection between the two love birds would keep their audience on their toes during the movies.

Some students would go see the movie on its release date, at midnight no matter what day of the week it was.

As for me, my mom would never allow that to happen, but I squeezed in time to see the movies a day or two after they were released.

“Breaking Dawn Part Two was my absolute favorite movie, and also my favorite book,” said Junior Emily Doebbert, “although I enjoyed the books way more than the movie, the movie really had a good plot twist.”

Many subjects are touched in the movies, love is the major one, but violence and suspense is evident as well. Violence is sometimes the only way to catch the attention of some people, and Breaking Dawn definitely hit the spot in that category.

“It was a very intense movie, the fighting scenes are awesome!” said Junior Nate Svihel.

The movies and books have always been categorized between “Team Edward” and “Team Jacob”. Doebbert would say she is definetly team Jacob, because werewolves are awesome.

I would disagree and say that I am team Edward, but that is influenced from reading the books and not judging appearances.

Now that the credits have rolled by, and the pages of the books have been shut, the Twilight series will die down, but the dramatic, twisted love story between a high school girl and a vampire will continue to live in the hearts of true fans.
