The SFHS Crier

Rachel Miller is a very dedicated and decorated student-athlete.Rachel plays hockey and is a goalie. She works hard in the classroom so she can play hard on the ice. In the 2016-2017 season she was awarded team MVP, goaltender of the year in the Mississippi 8 conference, and all conference. In the 2017-2018 season she was awarded all conference again and voted team captain for the up coming 2018-2019 season. Also during the hockey season she volunteers her time to her local St.Francis youth hockey program and is a mentor for young aspiring hockey players, mostly goalies. She also participates in track at the varsity level. in the 2017-2018 season she was awarded the coaches award for leadership. Through her years as a young athlete she has been in lacrosse, dance, swimming, gymnastics, flag line and soccer. She looks forward to going to college, playing college hockey, and studying to become a physical therapist.
