17-year- old Jake Hanson works at the local hardware store in St. Francis, St. Francis True Value Hardware. He enjoys being a part of something that's been around for many years.

”I love working so close to my house and getting to be a part of the community,” Hanson said. Being the hardware store has been part of St. Francis for roughly 40 years, many generations have stepped foot through those doors.

“My bosses are of an older age and I’ve been introduced to many important people who have been and still are a large part of our community.” said Hanson.

Not only do you get to meet many people you also get to learn a lot from all of the generation.

“I learn a lot of stuff that I’ll be able to use on the real world,” he said.
